Yasmin, Yasminelle, Yaz, Aida i Petibelle… All known names for women that take anti baby pills. Some of these pills are also the reason why the company Bayer payed 1.9 billion dollar for an “agreement” claiming no guilt to women that have become damaged by these pills. For some time it is already known that the pills of 3^rd and 4^th generation are more dangerous than the 1^st and 2^nd ones. It seems that the new formula of drospirenon is the reason for that negative trend. Actually so much that the pharmacologists in Germany want to forbid these sorts and take them completely out from the market. Of course the corporations answer with a “there is more to earn than damage” argument. The profit Bayer spell with 768 million euro revenue only for the anti baby pills.
What is the damage then? The worst are the death cases! From the introduction of these new generations anti baby pills there have been 28 death cases in Europe. 5 to 7 women of 10 000 experience thrombosis. Some of the side effects of the pills that women experience are lung emboli, heart attack, thrombosis, stroke and many many more.
Federal agency for Medicines recommend the doctors to give the old generation anti baby pills to avoid these horrifying side effects…unfortunately 768 million euro speak their own language. Countries like France, Benelux countries, Norway and Denmark have decide to prohibit all 3^rd and 4^th generations anti baby pills. I do not know how it is at Balkan (or anywhere else) but I would highly recommend to check out what pills you are taking (if taking any).

Kids should not where winterjacket in car seats! / Kako zimi vezati opasac djetetu!

I often ask myself if it is any good to put a child in winter jacket into a car seat, and when so does the function really stay the same? Now a video got out showing the scary truth of a child with a winter jacket on.
Imagine: ..driving a child weighing 18 kg, in a car driving 50 km/ h and suddenly the car hits something. When a car going 50 km/h hits something, the weight of people and objects in the car are multiplied by 20…and you have a child that is turned into a 360 kg projectile! Imagine what happens when the seat straps are not put properly. (Here is a virtual slap for all the ones removing the seat straps telling that they are in the way..or they tell the mothers to hold their child with the arms..because they never “drive fast”! I would like to see the arms holding a 360 kg projectile). So to put it short.
To save your childs life

1. Take off the winter jacket and put the seat straps tight
2. Cover the child with the jacket or with a blanket
3. Drive carefully

A couple of years ago I asked an Afghani geologist the simple question why is there a war in Afghanistan? I was not that naive believing the crap about introducing democracy. The answer was quite surprising to me, but it looks like the soviet miners already found out the answer in the 80-s.

There is this naive belief, among parts of the western world, that foreign soldiers stationed in Afghanistan are there to teach the citizens “the true democratic values”, ignoring the fact that they themselves have taught the Taliban all the battle strategies they need. Quite weird way of introducing  democracy in a society. Obviously, they where never thinking about the fact that the only way democracy can be introduced into a society is with education and not with international weapons and bombs…Made in EU. Well these people planning wars are not stupid so it was about time that the NewYork Times as well as the German newspaper “Tagesspiegel”  explain the true reason why international forces are in Afghanistan. Here are some of the reasons: Copper, Iron, Gold, Cobalt, Lithium.
Lithium is especially needed in batteries for Cell phones, Laptops and surprise electro cars…the future when the oil gets depleted. They say what Saudi Arabia is with oil, Afghanistan can be with Lithium.
What they miss to say in the article, but what the Afghani geologist told me was that there are huge amounts of gem stones like rubies and sapphires. There is also uranium which according to the geologist Americans know very well because they have located their forces there and know are exploiting the country on tons of uranium… not paying one cent in taxes. According to him 1 kg uranium costs about 10 000 euro / kg. So much of the democratic values that our governments that WE vote for are sharing in our name in the world…

Tollwood

Tollwood is a festival that I would cordly recommend for the ones that have the possibility to visit Munich. There are a couple of huge tents where bazaars are located. There is also one tenth called the world salon with exhibitions with new themes every year, and a tent with all possible international restaurants. The bazaars are full of unique handcraft why the price is according to that. Nonetheless there are beautiful things one can see. Between these tents there are stands selling souvenirs, sweets, food, glühwein and so on. There are also quite a number of bars where one can take a glühwein or good bavarian beer. This year at the entrance of Tollwood stands an army of humans made of trash (cans). It is impressive and made me reflect about the society we live in…how much trash we produce but also how we see human beings. As trash!
In the world saloon the theme of the year is the “value of survival”. How can we get a steadier life with one another? What is happiness? How much less is more?

Women and their pension/ Zene i Penzija

I often think about my future and what is the best thing I can do for Ada when she grows older and surprisingly often I end up thinking about my pension.
I ask myself what I can do to make my pension safe? I do not want to end up one day and be a problem for my daughter because I didn´t think of my pension in time. So she ends up feeling that she has to help me out. For me that is horrifying picture. Having no freedom of my own or of my daughter.

Therefore I believe that it is crucial, especially for our daughters,that they learn to consider and think about the future. That even when they are at home with their children and the husband is working, that part of his salary goes to HER pension savings. Be it a bought apartment, gold, saving account, stocks (funds) or buying land. Other things (even the saving account) do not really sound as an investment to me. I believe that the best is to be 100% independent and all the rest is just bonus.

I was in a bank to get informed about private pension saving and it ended in me asking who is signing such criminal bad deals. They were suggesting me to save 10% of the gross salary for the pension. Consider a couple (together) earns 100 000 Euro gross per year (that is quite an average salary in Munich) should pay 10 000 euro (gross) for the private savings for the retirement. Imagine paying 10 000 euro/year for 20 years.  That is 200 000 euro ADDITIONAL to the public pension you pay for while working. With 200 000 euro you can pay off an apartment with in 20 years. If something happens to you the money YOU paid stay in the bank and do not go back to your family. If something happens and you need the money you are not allowed to take it out. I find it scandalous. In the end if you have this money it is better to buy an apartment and pay it off, at least you get something concretely out of it. You can always rent it out…instead of paying 200 000 euro and get some 50 euro more pension per month. To cut it short if you live in Germany and look for Riesterrente, don´t be a fool. Find another way to secure your pension income.
However, I do wonder if people in Balkan or in the world do talk about the pension and how to secure it? Do they talk with ther daughters about it? Or with each other? I really would like to know!
Cesto razmisljam sta je ustvari najbolja stvar sto mogu Adi dati kad bude starija i cesto mi tu naumpade rijec penzija. Mozda je to isto u kombinaciji sa tim sto mi je zaradjena penzija  citavih 200 eura mjesecno… za sada…i sto sam kod kuce sa djetetom.
Postavim sebi pitanje sta ja ustvari mogu tu uraditi da sebi osiguram penziju? Ja necu da budem jednog dana na grbaci svom djetetu jer sam se zezala i govorila sta ako ne dozivim penziju.. i onda je dozivim. Pa onda zbog toga moje dijete “mora” meni “pomagati” – za mene je to strava i uzas. Cisti horor. Jezim se samo kad pomislim na to…Da ja nemam svoju slobodu…a ni Ada.

Zato mislim da je to jako bitno da se djeca, pogotovo zenska djeca, uce da razmisljaju o buducnosti, da cak i kad su kod kuce sa djecom da dio novca koju muz zaradjuje bude odvojen za maminu penziju. Bila to kupovina stana, zlata, stednje knjizice, dionica (fondova) ili zemljista. Ostale stvari (pa cak i stednja knjizica) mi ne zvuci kao neka investicija. U biti treba uvijek biti u takvoj poziciji da si uvijek 100% samostalna. A sve ostalo je bonus.

Bila sam na razgovor za privatnu penzionu stednju i na kraj razgovora sam ih pitala zar ima stvarno neko ko potpise te ugovore? Znaci oni su meni predlagali da dajemo 10% od svoje brutoplate, znaci jedan par koji godisnje (zajedno) zaradi 100 000 eura bruto platu bi bukvalno trebao davati 10 000 eura za penziju. 10 000*20 godina je = 200 000 eura. Znaci 200 000 eura DODATNO uplaceni za penziju. Ako se nesto desi, pare propadnu i ne pripadaju familiji. Ili ako hoces da izvuces pare u slucaju da ti trebaju ne mozes. Ja smatram i tako sam joj i rekla da je pametnije  uzeti stan i otplatiti 200 000 eura od stana na taj nacin, pa ako nista mogu ga izdavati i dobivati neke konkretne pare, a ne tih 50 eura koje mi poslije mjesecno nude. Znaci za ove u Njemackoj koji gledaju Riesterrente, ne budite budalasti. Nadjite drugi nacin da sebi osigurate penziju. Pitam se da li zene na balkanu uopste razmisljaju o tome i kako one sebi osiguravaju novac za neki neplanirani veliki trosak ili pak penziju? Da li se uopste o tome prica i sta se prica ako se prica? Bas me zanima…

Lena´s Birthday party

Two weeks ago we went to Lena´s birthday party. I didn´t have any pictures and now I got some so I thought it would be nice to save it her on the blog. Lejla is, as I always say a “doer”, which always shows in the cake she organizes for her daughter. Not only does the cake look good but it is always delicious. Even I, as a grow up, always love to see what kind of masterpiece cake is made this time
The party itself was wonderful for the children because children where running around screaming jumping, eating cake, running, jumping and so on. What more do children need

I just love pancakes which makes me more than happy when someone gives me an idea of a salty mixture. My brother-in-law gave me a delicious suggetion:

• tear a carrot
• cottage cheese
• sheep/goat cheese
• a lot of garlic
• a lot of parsley (is not to be seen in the picture)
• sour cream

Mix it all and serve it with the pancakes! Bon Appetite!

Tea time / Vrijeme za čaj

Another dull day invites for another relaxing afternoon tea. For the tea lovers I would recommend the Mariage Frères Tea. It is one of these teas making life a whole lot better. The tins they are packed in reminds of former times and are just simply beutiful. Mariage Frères was founded in 1854 in France and is still today run by the Mariage family.  In Munich a store called „Schöner Essen Geschenkartikel“ situated in the old town is selling this tea. In Sweden I have not found a store selling it, but if anyone knows it please tell me…

Tmuran, kišni dan… Tačno poziva na opuštajući poslijepodnevni čaj. Za ljubitelje čaja preporučujem čaj od Mariage Frères. Taj čaj je jedan od čajeva koji čine životom ljepšim 🙂. Pakovanje podsjeća na stara romantična vremena i jednostavno je prelijepo. Firmu Mariage Frères su braća Mariage osnovali još 1854 godine u Francuskoj, a i dan danas familija Mariage drži sve u svojim rukama. 

Yesterday, I was motivated by the dull weather to spice up my tea storage with another three teas that I enjoy. I liked the cinnamon tea the most. There is never enough tea in a house 😀

Renovating the bathroom / Renoviranje kupatila

Tadam tadam tadam tadaaa (that are the drums playing) … I finally decided to renovate the bathroom in Solna, Sweden! I already started to get inspired by different bathrooms (old post).  It takes like 100 years to find all the things one needs for the bathroom. The nicest things to look at though are the faucets. Even the prices are quite ok (<100 Euro, some are more). The only thing is that I do not know if there is some special standard for Sweden, but I guess it should do. There are such beautiful ones but it is difficult to decide for which one to go. Which one do you like the most? Do you have any advice when renovating a bathroom? What is most critical part? International day of the elimination of violence against women

One of the most widespread violations of human rights is the violence against women and girls.

Everyone wants peace on earth, health and prosperity for all. Unfortunately there is no app for it yet…
I am tired of the UN, newspapers and TV-shows and all those NGO´s who think they fight for human (women) rights. They are not fighting for the rights they are just trying to save a couple of individuals.
It is not about being a man or a woman it is about if you are the stronger one or the weaker one. We are discussing about gay rights, human rights, animal rights and so on. The problem that is overseen is that we live in a system that do not care about any rights (children-, women-, animal-, gay- and so on- rights). It is about us living in a system where only money counts.

So what can we do to improve it? It takes only about half an hour of a voting women’s (and men´s) time.

Every 4-5 years in EU and US there are elections. Go to the elections and think about what the party you are going to vote for will do for you and what rights they will bring not only you but all the women in the world. Will our party introduce embargo to a country like for example Saudi Arabia if they do not give women the same rights as men?
Because the fact is that in Egypt, Afganistan, Irak, Palestina, most of the African countries and so on …it is not the local governments controlling these countries. These countries are ruled by our EU, US countries and especially by our mega corporates.
Do not forget that next time you are voting…

Jedna od najcescih krivicnih djela kod ljudskih prava je nasilje nad zenama i curicama.

Svi hoce da imaju mir, zdravlje i prosperitet za sve na zemaljskoj kugli. Nazalost nema aplikacije za to jos.
Dosta mi je UN, novina, TV emisija i svi oni nevladinih organizacija koje misle da se bore za ljudska prava ili prava zene. Ne rade oni to nego samo spasavaju pojedine.
Ne radi se o tome jesi li zensko ili musko, nego jesi li jaci ili slabiji. Diskutujemo prava homoseksualaca, zivotinja, ljudska prava itd. Problem je sto niko ne gleda da mi zivimo u jednom sistemu za koje zaboli dupe za icija prava bila to djecija prava, zena, zivotinja itd. To je sistem gdje se samo novac broji.

Pa sta mozemo uraditi da to promijenimo? Za to treba samo oko pola sata svake cetiri godine ili svaki put kad je glasanje.

Svaki 4-5 godina su u EU i u Americi izbori. Idite na izbore I razmislite sta ce ta partija na koju glasati uraditi za VAS i za SVE ostale ljude na svijetu. Hoce li, kao primjer, ta partija uvesti embargo drzavi poput Saudi Arabije ako zenama ne dadnu ista prava kao muskarcima?
Jer cinjenica je da Egipat, Afganistan, Irak, Palestina i vecina Africkih drzava NE kontrolisu lokalne vlade. Ove drzave su kontrolisane od strane EU, Amerike i pogotovo ”nasih” megakorporacija. Ne zaboravite to drugi put kad budete glasali…
